I'm 8 months pregnant and have been seeing Sarah twice a month for most of my pregnancy. She's a wonderful contrast to my more traditional careproviders at OHSU who simply accept that discomfort and pain are an inextricable part of being pregnant. I go to my doctor appointments with tales of aches + pains and they mostly shrug and say: just make sure to get plenty of rest and eat right. When I have appointments with Sarah, she seems to preempt whatever problems I may be having at the specific stage of pregnancy I'm in and she works them out: fatigue, nausea, headaches, back pain, high bloodpressure, crankiness, stress. And somehow she makes getting stuck with needles fun and relaxing. I always look forward to my time with her. She is highly intuitive and treats you in a subtle, yet extremely effective manner. Sarah's acupuncture has been well worth the time and money for the relaxation and relief from symptoms during my pregnancy! Pros: convenience, flexibility with scheduling, kindness
