Businiess name:  U.S. Bank Branch

Review content:
US Bank is the worst bank I've ever had to deal with. The staff at the Van Ness branch was OK, but I think they are too junior and poorly trained. Plus some of them might just be a little incompetent, but that's normal, everywhere is like that. Now the company and its infrastructure is the real problem. \r \r My bad experience was that they refused to cash a cashier check issued by them!, yes by a US Bank branch. So in order for me to use the money I had to deposit the cashier check back into a newly opened account and wire the money to a different bank (a real one) where I could actually cash a check. Did that, but guess what? part of the money vanished during the wire transfer! I had to go through so much pain to track it down (everyone was pointing the finger at someone else, yet still my money was gone), and it turns out US bank was to blame. Shame on them. I had to file a complaint with the OCC in order to get my money back. Terrible experience in my case. Run away.\r
