WOULD YOU DROP YOUR KID OFF TO A DAYCARE WHERE ALL THE STAFF HAD CIGARETTES IN THEIR HANDS AND AN ATTITUDE OF DISDAIN AND DISRESPECT ON THEIR FACES? I'M ASSUMING YOU WOULDN'T SO DON'T DO IT TO YOUR DOG!!!
I moved to Boulder from LA three months ago and have committed to driving 15 miles to take my puppy to Cottonwood Kennels EVERY DAY because of the look of the ""farm like"" atmosphere. Don't let the farm fool you! The customer service is absolutely awful. Every time I drive up there's two or three staff members smoking outside where the dogs play. Once I waited in the office with no response for 5 minutes and when I asked a staff member in the playgroup outside if anyone could help me, she shrugged her shoulders at me and gave me the most disrespectful attitude. Not only is the staff horrible but I can't tell you how many times my puppy has gotten sick from being there. My puppy has vomited a number of times when I've picked her up, has gotten ringworm and mites, which has cost me several hundred dollars to treat! When I confronted PENNY VARDELL the owner about my concerns, she was unwilling to hear my complaints, showed no appreciation for my loyalty to her business at all and even insulted me beyond belief. I'm shocked, hurt and will not let her get away with it. I will be taking PENNY VARDELL to court. Also, I'm not surprised to see the review below stating my exact thoughts about PENNY VARDELL and her staff. Penny is strange, self-righteous and vulgar. Please - if you love your dog, don't judge a book by its cover. Judge Cottonwood Kennels on your intuition and interactions with the staff because both will be poor and you can only imagine how your puppy will be treated.
