LKW Dance Center has a fairly large presence in the Montoursville area, so we decided to check them out personally. As concerned parents we really want to know who is going to work with our kids.
Well, we had the opportunity to meet and talk with Lauri Welteroth personally. We are glad we did, because it was such an extreme turn-off for my husband and I, I really don't know where to begin.
First, and this may sound judgmental, she was wearing a baseball cap, sweat suit, and must have been draped in at least $50,000 in jewelry. Who dresses like that at a first-time meeting with parents at a restaurant?
But it was her attitude that clinched it for us. It's fairly easy to tell when someone is ""talking down"" to you, and Lauri is a master at it. She was dismissive, condescending and arrogant, saying things like, ""people like you,"" in regards to us affording to do business with her, etc.
I don't want someone like this around my kids, sorry. We are VERY happy we went with Duane & Kellie Gordner of DK's Studio of Dance in Hughesville, PA. Great people and wonderful with our kids!
