Businiess name:  Times Square Pizzeria

Review content:
I almost never write reviews. This is a rarity for me...but hopefully you will understand why after reading this. My entire family loves pizza and we were huge fans of PIZZA FUSION restaurant that used to occupy the space now housing the Times Square Pizzeria (TSP). After reading the reviews on City Search, we were hopeful to have a decent meal when our entire party showed up for dinner a few nights ago. While the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, the food was simply below any standards of decency. Specifically we ordered: 1. Bruchetta that was barely covered with anything resembling tomatoes. Too, the sliced bread was burnt to a crisp and the olive oil drenched the bread beyond recognition. Essentially, the texture was rubbery, charred and soggy. 2. Our other appetizers were equally prepared with similar care - meaning none. 3. The worst offense was the pizza. We ordered several and all exhibited the same flaws: soggy, no crunch in the crust, poor flavoring and poor ingredients. It is clear that while they're nice people working here - they have absolutely no idea how to use their ovens, cookware, and have little to no skill when assembling their appetizers or entrees. Moreover, their selection of materials and ingredients in below standards. The worst is the prices: with tip, our bill was roughly $20 per person which included a few small bites of appetizers, two slices of pizza and water (i.e., no drinks or alcohol). Save you money. Go to Publix and purchase a premium pizza and cook it yourself. Better yet - order from your favorite delivery service....you'll be guaranteed a better meal. And btw, the only thing I can think of why THIS review is so diametrically opposed to the other reviews on this website is this: The owners and/or friends of the pizzeria had to have completed these other reviews. Again - visit TSP at your own peril. The only thing that could have made this place worse (i.e. receiving NO STARS) would have been if one of our dining party was made ill by the food. YES WE WERE DISAPPOINTED...and I would not recommend Times Square Pizzeria to anyone who values their money or enjoys pizza.
