Riverside Auto Sales: \r
Is a junk car sales lot. Owners exact words he sales a lot of junk cars, On 5-13-2008 My son bought a car from Riverside Auto. He only had it a few hours , drove 41 miles, coming home for theatre in Grendale in front of Krogers it caught fire. A couple of cars stopped to help him put out the fire. All the wiring and vacum hoses caught fire. I went to see the president next day. Ask if he could take the car back and give my son his money back to buy a different car. Riversides response was, we sell a lot of junk cars on these lots, they are sold as is. it is your problem now. He refuses to work with us on this. My son has tried calling junk yards for wiring harness and wires. No one has them. He called Chevrolet dearler in Law. they say you can not buy that part. This car is totaled. I believe that Riverside should be held responsible. This is the second car lot in Indiana in the last 2-3 years that is their only to take you money and leave you standing with noting. (American Auto Sales) did the same to us and many others. We need to stop letting them get by with this. Please avoid Riverside Auto don't let this happen to you as( American Auto) took a lot of money from customers and also got nothing.\r
We need to stand up for the hard working citizens of Aurora Indiana quit letting these money hungery\r
slimes take advantage of us, times are hard enough as they are. Now we a have a 22 year old kid that\r
put his trust in Riverside Auto Sales, what he is saying is, it 's your problem now I have your money. Whatever happened to customer service?\r
