Not only is Rose experienced, but she has a wealth of knowledge you won't find anywhere else. Want your hair colored without harsh chemicals? Ask her for her organic, natural veggie-based dyes. My mother had Cancer, and Rose went above and beyond to find the best treatments, vitamins, etc. I asked her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, we did a dry-run and it looked amazing. \r

Yeah, you can be a snob and complain about the decor, but nobody's gonna be talking about decor when you walk in with either big, nasty, long island streaks, or a chic new (Park Slope) 'do.
Pros: Knowledge, skills, funny staff, relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Better to make an appointment, walk-ins are risky... but when you're in demand, what can you expect?
