Review content:
So, I was a regular customer at this restaurant until today. I work downtown and this restaurant is only a few minutes away walking distance. The two items from their menu that I would purchase are cheeseburgers/fries or caesar chicken salad. They are located in a small plaza near several restaurants. I decided to have lunch at a nearby restaurant and then walked into Coney Island just to buy a drink. I had no idea I would get heat for this. So, the man at the counter (whom I've seen before & even had friendly conversations with in the past) asked if he could help me. I replied that I wanted a drink. I gave him my card and he starts mumbling...He told me he was getting frustrated with customers who come in and want to only purchase ""little transactions"" after going to another place to eat. I was shocked by his comment but just took my drink and left. I came back a few minutes later because I couldn't let it go without saying anything. I told the man that I thought he was being rude for his comment. He told me he didn't care. I said I've come here before and now you give me a hard time because I only wanted to buy a drink? GIVE ME A BREAK! I told him he was still getting my money that's all that matters. Of course, he said no there's more than that. He could care less with what I had to say so I told him he just lost a regular customer who normally spends between $8-9 each time I go there. He just shrugged and said Oh well. Last time for me...thank you very much! At least, now the other restaurants near him will get more of my business than he ever will. That's a shame because I eat out almost every day and it had to come down to a mere $1.50.... Cons: Poor customer service
