Review content:
I stopped in this place last weekend since it had some good reviews posted on here. Well, I guess I stopped by on an off night, because there was two other people in the place besides me (not an exageration). I cannot comment on the jukebox because they had it turned off and just had K Rock playing from the radio (lame). Drink prices were dirt cheap ($1 PBR cans, and this was AFTER happy hour was over). They also had some wierd, torture/porn video from the 1960's playing on the television screen. The bartender seemed very friendly and so did the the two other patrons there. They conversed with me and made me feel welcomed, which was a plus. This bar is extremely small and there's actually more room on the front patio of the bar than inside the bar itself, which is actually good news for smokers because you're allowed to take your drink outside with you while having a smoke. This place is definitely a place I would check out again and hope for a more energetic crowd. The bartender did tell me that on certain, random nights people do get up and dance on the small bar (more like a counter top) and it does draw a large crowd at times. I just didn't see that personally when I was there probably because it's located in a very remote area with nothing else around besides abandoned factories, however the area still seemed fairly safe. One block away (closer to Bedford Ave.) stands another dive called The Levee which seemed a lot more popular. So, it can definitely serve as a back-up if you're not feeling Duff's. Pros: Cheap Beers, Friendly Bartender, outdoor patio, Friendly Patrons make you feel welcomed Cons: Not close to subway station, hardly anyone was there, located in a remote area
