Review content:
I wish I could say Ellerbe Springs Inn & Restaurant is still in business but it isn't. This was my favorite place to go to to get away from the world and enjoy a wonderful meal with my ""someone special"". Donna and Jim Lane are wonderful people and they made you feel like family. Unfortuntely they are victims of our fast paced life styles and were greatly affected with the opening of the new Highway 220 By-Pass. I'm thankful for the creation of this highway but sad to see how it's affected the businesses that benefited for years from their location along this highway. Now that the traffic pattern has been diverted away from Ellerbe Springs Inn & Restaurant, as well as other businesses, they have had to close their doors and we, and they, will never be the same. I know the decision to close their doors and sale their business was a heart wrenching one for Jim and Donna, but the great times we all have shared there through food and conversation will NEVER be forgotten. I wish Donna and Jim, (the best cook/chef in Rockingham County), the very best in all their future endeavors. We love you and we'll miss you more than you'll ever know!
Pros: Food and Service was great!
