Businiess name:  Accurate Tint & Audio

Review content:
I was looking for a particular brand name window film for my vehicle. I called Accurate Tint and spoke with Joe (he said he was the owner) and I ask him if they sold this brand name window film which I was in search of, to be installed on my vehicle by a professional installer. He stated they did sell this brand name window film. I wanted my entire vehicle (including the windshield) tinted in this brand name film. At the time when I called him, I did not know that this brand name film was only sold to a selected AUTHORIZED window tinting company in the same city. I did further research, as I knew this brand name, from speaking with Joe, would cost me over $500.00 to have my entire vehicle tinted with this film ($389.00 for my front, and back roll up windows and my rear window, and about $200.00 for my windshield). In doing further research, I found the web site of this brand name film and saw where I could find an AUTHORIZED dealer. I found out that the AUTHORIZED dealer was not Accurate Tint, it was another tinting company in the same city. I spoke with the company of this brand name film and they informed me that any other company stating they sold their product was misrepresenting (lying) about selling their product, they also assured me that the other tinting company was their ONLY AUTHORIZED dealer in the state of Alabama. This angered me a bit, to know that I was planning on having my car tinted by Accurate tint, spending more than $500.00 for the film I wanted (not some off brand film that wouldn't compare to the performance of the brand name film I wanted) and I was lied to from Joe, who owns Accurate Tint. I called Accurate Tint and asked to speak with Joe and I asked him why he would lie to me about selling this film when they were not authorized to sell this film, according to it's manufacturer. Joe used profanity towards me and hung up the phone. I can tolerate many things, but being lied to and then cursed at and hung up on are two things I do not tolerate. I called Joe back and asked him to hear me out and asked him why he would lie (or misrepresent) his company by saying he sold the brand name film that I wanted, when I was told by the manufacturer of this film, that Accurate Tint did not sell their film and wasn't authorized to sell this film, nor install it. Joe told me that he did not by this brand name film from the manufacturer, he did buy it and install it, but bought it from someone else, not the manufacturer. I then called the manufacturer and told them what I was told by Joe. I was informed that they only sell their product to AUTHORIZED dealers and it was NEVER to be sold to an unauthorized dealer. Bottom line is I was either lied to, or Accurate Tint is ""bootlegging"" film they are not authorized to purchase or install. This is unethical business practices by Accurate Tint. Obviously they lie and they are unethical. I wouldn't recommend doing any business with this company...especially with their unprofessionalism, as I was cursed at by Joe, the Owner before I was able to even get my question out about why he lied.
