Review content:
On accident one evening after work, a friend and I stumbled upon Piola on our way to Cafe Asia. Not expecting the pizza place to have much of a happy hour we decided to stop in an share a glass of wine before indulging in asian cuisine next door. What we later found out was that Piola has one of the best happy hours in Rosslyn. For most people that know northern Virginia, Rosslyn tends to be the hardest place in VA to find a decent happy hour. Little do they know that Piola offers free appetizers at the bar throughout the week after work. It was certainly a pleasant surprise for my friend and I to munch on pizza, cheese, crackers and bread while we enjoyed inexpensive glasses of wine. For diners and drinkers on a budget I recommend stopping by Piola for a quick snack when catching up with your friend after work. The only downside is you will have to walk two blocks uphill from the metro. Pros: Free appetizers during Happy Hour Cons: 2 blocks uphill from the metro
