Keith's is probably the best shop in PDX metro for variety of hand and long guns, though gunbroker is pretty good as well. Not so much for accessories. You go to Keith's because they have what you need, and they are efficient - I called about a specific model, they told me quickly if they had in stock and what they could order, but had to check with their vendor, and promised to call me back - AND THEY DID. So many other shops say they will and don't. So +1 for efficiency. They had in stock a less common variant of one of their standard products, so +2 for variety and stock on hand. As for chatty customer service, it depends, some of the counter help will chat over the counter, some will answer technical questions fine but if you try to make conversation they will be stonily silent & pull the East Coast vibe on you (I'm from Boston so I can say that :-)). But that beats some places where you get some old blowhard who lectures you like you are 5 years old.... So, don't go there expecting to make a friend, but for quick and efficient service. And their prices are very good as well, found what I was looking for for less than I would have paid on the 'net, with shipping & transfer fees taken into account. So all in all, a decent place.
