Let me sum up ALL the reviews here with the straight scoop: Keiths has the best selection of firearms in the Pacific Northwest. Keith's also has fair pricing...you won't get great deals, but you won't get ripped off, either. But Keith's is lacking in two areas. First, customer service at Keith's is notoriously bad. Seriously, whenever you even mention the name ""Keith's"" in a room full of gun owners, at least one person will mention the awful customer service. (And everyone else in the room will nod in agreement.) Keith himself can be downright rude, which is entirely unnecessary. So, if you go there, understand ahead of time that YOU need to be firm and almost a little rude yourself if you want to be helped. Second, Keith's doesn't take returns. I found this out when I bought an expensive Polish AK-47 from him at the PDX gun show. When I got home, I learned that the rifle was out-of-spec, and that magazines would not fit into the mag well. I took it back, and didn't even ask for my money back. A mere exchange for a working rifle would have sufficed. But Keith wouldn't even exchange the rifle. Keith already had my money, so apparently this was now my problem. So here I was with a new $700 AK that was not functional! Needless to say, that was the last dollar Keith ever saw from me. (A shame too, considering that I spend no small amount of money every year on firearms) In essence, Keith's could be a really good gun shop. But Keith himself seems to have a broken ethical compass. If you do business with him, be forceful, be deliberate, and most important, be careful! Pros: Good selection, pretty good prices Cons: Some questionable business practices, bad location, store too small
