After hearing about the legendary Besaw's breakfast menu from no less than 10 of my friends, I finally went last weekend and was happy to find that it exceeded all my expectations. I could not find a single thing on their breakfast menu that didn't sound mouth-wateringly delicious. The belgian waffle with raspberry compote & thick, lucious whipped cream on top was fantastic, as was the prosciutto/feta/sundried tomato/basil scramble my dining partner had. I also highly recommend their espresso drinks - I had the Cafe Allison, a latte with chocolate, hazelnut & cinnamon...and was surprised to find it a VERY delicious treat. Most breakfast places do watery or over-flavored versions of coffee shop favorites, but Besaw's actually gets it right.
