Review content:
Our favorite restaurant in NW Portland (eat here an average of once per week). Fairly ""neighborhood"" type of restaurant (lots of regulars). We rarely do the weekend breakfast because of a bit of a wait (though as others have mentioned they have free coffee and waffle chunks to tide you over). For dinner they always have 3 good microbrews on tap, their soups and salads are consistently excellent, and their entrees are a mixed of standard (I often default to the meatloaf), and a nightly theme special. Deserts are just ok -> good, though we rarely have room given the rather large sized portions of most dishes. We find the folks who work there great, and rarely have had any misfires on our orders, and like the ambiance (patio is a bit funky, the bar is way cool). Never have noticed the noise level to be particularly bad.
Pros: Great food, Great service, Excellent value
Cons: Busy wkend breakfast, Crowded waiting area
