Businiess name:  Der Dutchman Restaurant

Review content:
I'm actually an employee there of more than five years and can say that I can still eat all the food no matter what. The management keeps very good track of the cleaniness of not only the outside but the kitchen as well. As one has said above, this place can be crowded, but it's good enough to wait. The peak times are normally always busy. But if you can get in there around 2 or 3, the wait won't be bad if any. Even on Saturdays. If the wait is too long here, you can always take the short road trip to the Der Dutchman Countryside(formally the Dutch Kitchen). I've been here a few times, and although I don't believe the food is quite as good, it still will make most people happy. The bakery is one of the favorites of the customers. With all the home made pies and doughnuts, employees love to see the Der Duthcman symbol come into their companies for breakfast. The most popular meals are the broasted chicken, noodles over mashed potatoes, and Manhattans. However everything is pretty darn tasty. The best part about this restaurant is the dessert. You have to splurge for it while you're here. Forget the diet, it's worth it for one day. All cream pies are made daily and will be available until close. The fruit pies are made early in the morning and are just as good. The main problem with this restaurant, and I hate to say it are the nats. I don't see them in the kitchen as much as in the dining room in the morning first thing. I know the management has tried many things to oust these insects, but has been unsuccesful so far. That would be my biggest complaint, but most people don't notice it. However, this problem has to be almost in every restaurant whether the customers see it or not. This place is a great place to bring the family. The crowd is normally slightly older, but the kids could enjoy it as well. On most Saturday's the have a free(tip the driver) horse and carriage ride around the restaurant and if caught at the right time, you can sit in a buggy. Pros: Great bakery, you might even be able to watch them make something. Cons: Nats in the dining room around tables.
