My friends and I have been going to Champp's for Happy Hour regularly since it opened 9 years ago. For the first few years it was the place to be in EP. The last few years it has become just another place to go with an occasional band, bringing in a few new faces. Now they have done away with Happy Hour pricing. I guess for my friends, (18-20 of us), no good deed goes unpunished. It was a corporate decision so Eden Prairie, Richfield and Ridgedale are the only corporate Champp's in the US to abolish Happy Hour. Whoever this genius is hasn't seen the current state of our economy or he would have realized that he should have taken the prices south, not north.\r Fortunately, there are many other great bars with happy hours nearby. I feel bad for the staff at those three locations, who will either quit because of lower tips or get fired for poor revenue compared to last year's sales. Way to go, Corporate Guy, I only wish it was your job on the line for this uninformed decision. The regulars, the bartenders, the wait staff and management don't deserve this. Thanks for breaking up the band, Yoko! Pros: Nice patio Cons: No happy Hour?
