On Monday morning, December 20, 2010, I needed to get a key made for my vehicle, a Cadillac STS. I called a non-Cadillac dealer to help me because of the location of the vehicle. They told me the only way to get the key made and programmed, and get my vehicle running was to tow the vehicle to their dealership. They said absolutely no one could get the vehicle running where it was setting. I asked how much it would cost once I got the car to their dealership, they said, $90.00. So I towed the vehicle, $107 plus $10 tip, to their dealership. They then said it would cost $110 to get the car running and would not be available until the next day. The next day I got a call and they said, the car needs an anti-theft module and it must be a new one, not even a used module would work and the cost to me would be $758 tax included, and the vehicle would not be ready until next Monday, December 27, 2010. So with the information they gave me, the cost to me would be $865, (repair plus the tow). On December 22, I called Key Cadillac to get a second opinion. Mary Nederostek from Key Cadillac Service department took my call and understood my situation and told me to call their Roadside Service Technician, Dave Gilbert. Dave said he had over 25 years of experience with Cadillac and would get the car running for $150, and if he couldn’t there would be no charge. A pretty confident statement by him, so I said let’s proceed. Dave was on another call across the cities, but within 2 hours I got a call and he said the car is running. I live in Eden Prairie, the car was in St. Paul. I cannot say enough about how much Mary N. and Dave G. helped me and saved me over $608 and 5 days, and I would not have my car over the Holiday’s. I highly recommend Key Cadillac and their outstanding staff. M. Howley Eden Prairie, MN
