My husband and I went to the restaurant for our 4th anniversary in July 05. It was my first time in Chicago. Though the restaurant was full, we still felt the romance in the air. We opened the meal with the green bean salad (fantastic). For dinner, I had the chicken vesuvio and my husband had the lasagna. The portions were so large, I could have fed 3 other people with my dish alone. Because it was our anniversary, they through in a slice of the most wonderful cheesecake on the house! I can still taste it. The owner and his family were there and walked around the restaurant checking on patrons all night. Our meal with tax and tip was still less than $70. When in Chicago, I will visit again.
