The food, the music, the service, the atmosphere - it doesn't get any better than the Blue Coffee Cafe! The breakfast menu tops anything McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, or Burger King have to offer, the lunchtime selection of sandwiches, hot dogs, and other grilled items is more than satisfying, and the fresh goodies offered all day long (muffins, bagels, cake, etc.) keep you coming back for more. The staff is professional, prompt, and kind - and Gwen Matthews, the owner, is an absolute sweetheart. You can't afford to swing through Downtown Durham and NOT pay this cultural treasure a visit...you'll be robbing yourself of a shining example of just what makes our city so unique.
