I agree with other reviewers---simply stunning physical plant. But the food, while passable, is outrageously over-priced. But what really makes this a joint to avoid is the SERVICE, rather, lack thereof. Saucy maids in bustiers do not make great and prefessional servers. Neither do ski bums with rolled-up chinos to mimic knee breeches. Ugh. All would be forgiven if they knew what brands of liquor they stocked, knew to serve champagne very cold, and not room temp---the list of gaffes is endless and has spoiled every dining experience I've had here. Drive out, by all means, see the grounds, then turn around and go someplace where they value your patronage and you'll get a good meal! Pros: stunning grounds, gorgeous decor, beautiful flowers Cons: Lousy service, clueless waitstaff, brain-dead servers
