This is a special occasion restaurant and so on our anniversary, my husband and I went to La Caille to ""splurge"". Oh my, what an experience! We were seated at a small table next to a family with screaming kids. Who takes small kids to an expensive French restaurant? Good grief! Our server was painfully slow with drinks and appetizers and we were starving by the time the entree' arrived. Two hundred dollars lighter and a screaming headache later, we left feeling disappointed and were still hungry. To top it off, the waiter spilled on my jacket and didn't offer to have it cleaned...\r

I had three wishes that didn't come true: I wish we could have been sat at a good table instead of next to the family from hell, I wish the waiter would have cared about our table, and I wish the food had been hot...\r

With prices as high as they come in Utah, the food, service& ambience must be stellar and it wasn't.
Pros: Beautiful grounds
Cons: Pricey, slow service
