Review content:
Unfortunately I had to visit Claim Jumper again for a business function. This was about the third time I have eaten there and have yet to get what I would consider decent food. Everytime the food has been bland and tasteless. My lastest attempt I got the Rib-Eye which was tough and the blue cheese tasted like sour cream left out on the counter too long. Other dishes I have tried to my dismay were Chicken-Pot Pie and their Calamari dinner. Not a single one of these dishes warrants ever eating there again. The portions are so large they border on hyperbole. Claim Jumper feels like more of a cliche than an eating eastablishment because they focus on the size of the portions and not the quality. It's amazing that this chain still exists as I have been to three different restuarants with the same poor results. Service is average and the menu selection is good, but when the quality of the food is low who cares how many different entrees exist. Just another low-quality american restaurant serving up obesity one platter at a time. Pros: Service was okay. Kids are amazed by the size of the dishes. Cons: Big portions of low-quality (read not tasty) food.
