the location is nice but i dont know why the place gets so packed. go with a large group to enjoy the family-style portions. the food is not spectacular but its not bad either. if you absolutely cannot make reservations, grab a seat at the bar and munch on an appetizer to make the wait (id say an hour to 90 mins on weekends) go faster or ask the host for an approximate time and go for a stroll in farmer's market or the grove.
Pros: location, standard italian food
Cons: crowded, overrated
