Review content:
A few years ago a family member steered me to this small cozy pub in the heart of Charlotte. In a town filled with corporate steakhouses and impersonal chain restaurants, a nice old style city pub is a pleasant change of pace. Often misconstrued as an English restaurant , the menu is quite diverse with influences ranging from Latin, Asian , Mediterranean and even Eastern European cultures! As a frequent regular, I am treated as family. A case of nepotism? I think not. Even new faces are treated with such candor. The waitstaff's knowledge of the cuisine is impeccable, and the bartenders will be quick to pour you a ""perfect"" pint of Guiness or one of the other ever changing drafts. As a native ""yankee"" , I often bring out of town relatives and friends to my favorite watering hole. They have never been unsatisfied! A beer savant and gourmand lost in a city of bud light and chicken tenders, I always know I can duck into this charming establishment for good food, great beer and stimulating conversation! Pros: I can't even begin to list... Cons: May be a little crowded on weekends..
