Review content:
My husband and I purchased (with cash, because there was a discount) a dining room table from the Door Store in July (back when my husband was still my fiance). It's now December, and we have gotten married and still have yet to receive said table. Their original delivery estimate was 6-8 weeks. Fine. Then we started getting a different story every time we called...oh, it's delayed another two weeks, it's not in the country yet, it's IN the country but hasn't cleared customs, we have the chairs but not the table, it'll be another month, etc. At one point they offered us a refund, and we decided to stick it out...then when we decided to take the refund, they rescinded the offer and said we were only entitled to store credit. Employees admitted to us that they had been told to lie about the reason for the delays, which almost angers me more than not getting the table. Lying to your customers is just BAD business practice, and we will definitely be spreading the word that no one should shop there ever again! Cons: poor customer service, bad business practices
