Review content:
I have always liked the area around ArtSpace and was really hoping that a good Italian restaurant would give me and my Italian wife a reason to go there again. Unfortunately, Di Bella disappoints. Our waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu and was inattentive. The owner of the restaurant introduced himself to me in the bathroom and spent the rest of the time smoking at the bar talking loudly on the phone. Of the six of us only those who ordered tortillla wrap sandwiches enjoyed their meal. My house salad contained browning iceberg lettuce and was a little wilted. The chicken in my penne pasta was dry and chewy and the pasta was overcooked. I guess that was the complaint around the table... everything was overcooked. I won't even start on the kitschy decorating job. Maybe the next restaurant to occupy that space will have some authenticity.
Pros: location
Cons: overcooked food, under-trained wait st, dismal decor
