I recently received a telephone call from Moderne Salon telling my my hair stylist suddenly left without notice. They offered me a wonderful incentive to come in and try another stylist. Initially I found this to be odd that my stylist would leave without notice; I've known him for quite a while and it doesn't seem like something he would do. \r Two days after Moderne Salon's phone call I received a phone call from my stylist! I was elated that he contacted me. I asked him why he suddenly left without notice and found out he didn't leave without notice. He didn't really go into the details but from being a customer I always got the feeling that it wasn't a pleasant place to work. Turnover of employees was frequent and fast for such a small salon; you would think that being so small it would be like your own little family but I don't think that is the case. \r Needless to say, I will now be following my stylist which I adore and love and I choose never to go back to Moderne Salon because they were very dishonest with their explanation of what happed to my stylist. \r Honesty is always the best policy; I don't have time to play games. Funny thing is I live in downtown Providence and found Moderne Salon to be very convenient for all of my services such as manicures, pedicures, facial, and body massages....I will now be taking my business elsewhere.\r Be careful Moderne Salon - you have lots and lots of competition in downtown Providence and they would love to steal your customers!
