i've been a vegetarian for going on 11 years. i started back before there were veggie dogs available in every grocery store. it's been a long time. zephyr, whereas hard to spell, it's easy to find something good to eat there. i've eaten there with meat eaters and raw vegans, everyone is happy in the end. they do have an extensive raw selection, at least compared to non-raw restaurants. it's cozy and has art by different artist hung all over the walls. it's very much an alternative dining experience. most of the food is very good, however, i would stay away from the 'pasta' with pesto. i don't rememeber what they call it, but it's raw and not good. it's not as creative as raw foods in costa mesa, but it holds it's own.
