Review content:
I do not generally write reviews, partly because I know that bad reviews can affect someone's livelihood. But I selected this Salon based on the glowing Citysearch reviews, and I had a bad haircut and color at this salon, and I went back and asked for correction for the haircut and came out again looking bad. I went in with highlights that had gotten brassy, and while the haircut I had when I went in was not my all time favorite, as it had some layers that were out of control, it did not look nearly as bad as after the haircut I got here. The stylist cut my hair with the largest scissors I've ever seen in a salon - they looked like pruning sheers almost. Then, she evidently texturized my hair with smaller scissors, and I then had split ends in the layers around my face of my shoulder length hair. I've not had split ends since I was a teen and my hair was really long and was rarely cut and had too much Sun In. I do not know how she did such a bad job, but it looked really bad. Since I gave her a chance to redeem the cut, I feel justified in writing a negative review. In addition, my scalp itched and I had a good bit of hair loss after the color, so it may be that I was allergic to the color product used. While I was there, the stylists kept talking about what great service they provide, but I saw at least 3 other clients in and out, and honestly, none of them had fabulous looking hair. Perhaps I just went in on an off day, but I will not be going back. I'm sorry to give a bad review, but it was not worth the money in the least, and it was not cheap.\r \r After that, I did not have anything done for almost 2 months, but I have now gone to a new Salon - the difference is like night and day. Pros: Lovely salon, nicely decorated, clean, parking good, easy to get to, nice owner/stylists. Cons: Bad haircut, color OK but not interesting, scalp itched after service.
