Review content:
My initial reaction is that the place was great! I had a late appointment, so I was the only one there, but everyone was really friendly and made me feel welcome. Unfortunately, it all went down hill from there. I have long blond hair, and I went in to get a full foil done to brighten the blond and get a haircut. Normally, I would only go to a trusted stylist, but I just moved to the area and the reviews seemed pretty strong. First of all, putting the actual foils in took literally over 2 hours. I understand this takes a long time, but that amount of time is a little outrageous. To make things worse, when the foils came off, the color of my hair was not blond, but copper! I am talking like the color of a penny copper! The stylist seemed surprised that I hated it, too! So, she put me back in the chair and covered my head in some purple goop to make it ""less bronze"" and it still was hideous! Now about 9:45 at night, the stylist had to call in the salon manager to come in and fix the mess she created! Another layer of God knows what was put on my hair, and it still looked terrible. At that point, it was about 10:30 or 11:00 at night and I just pretended to like it so I could get the heck outa there! I went in for a color and cut, but there was no way I would let that stylist come near me with a pair of scissors after the disaster of a color treatment I got! It's been awhile since this happened and I STILL cannot get the ugly color out of my hair unless I chop it all off! To make things worse, I was still charged for everything. I felt obligated to pay for it becuase the poor stylist had to stay so late. She said she would keep a new color forumla in my file so it wouldn't happen next time. Next time? YEAH RIGHT! I will never... and I mean never go back to that place again. Pros: Nice Atmosphere, Friendly staff Cons: Terrible color, inexperienced staff
