I made the mistake of leasing from MIchael's a few years ago after having purchased or leased from Lithia for several years. Boy, was that a mistake. Here are two examples of how they typically do business:\r \r The service department quality rating scheme at Michael’s is a joke. Wait 10-15 minutes in the hope someone will come out and wait on you and have them mark off the excellent box before you sign the paperwork. \r \r The last time I got the car serviced it cost me over $900.00. They charged me over $300 for new keys, initially put the wrong manual plastic keys in my electronic key box, made me make a special trip to the dealership to return them and then never managed to get the correct manual plastic keys in the key-boxes they sold me. In other words, they are pretty much incompetent and they expect you to pay top-dollar for that incompetence and when they make a mistake to go out of you way to fix it for them.\r \r They sucker you in with initial low lease payments and soon offer you deals on bigger and more fancy cars. By the time you are through your third lease you are paying Lexus and Mercedes prices and getting the kind of service mentioned above. Don't buy or lease a car from these folks, they are predatory!
