My parents have been living at Bethesda Gardens Assisted Living - Terre Haute for a couple of years now. My sister and I are very satisfied that they are happy living there. I am very impressed with the appearance of the place. Physically, the place is well-maintained and very comfortable for the residents. It is a lovely and warm environment. My parents are very comfortable there. We are satisfied that they are well-cared for, if there's ever an emergency there are people to help out right then, because we are an hour away.
There have only been a couple of employees I've had problems with, and one of them is no longer there. Everyone else is very caring and kind, and I like them as people. I appreciate that the care they give my parents is really outstanding. The staff is willing to take suggestions and incorporate them into what they offer. Kathy Macky does a great job running things there. I also think that Daphne does a wonderful job with the resources they have. I think they should try to pay their employees more if they can to keep the really good people there.
