Review content:
I had gone to the place and found the place to be very interesting . I am not lithuanian but familiar with the culture, history and food from lithuanian friends. The place has enough parking and its located not far from I-55 making it convenient and not far from Toyota Park where alot of events for soccer happen. Now the restaurant has a medieval type decor celebrating the lithuanian knights who defeated the german teutonic knights advancing attack on lithuania in 1410 or the Battle of Grunwald... You can see the lithuanian shield of knight riding a white horse with a red and white background. It was a multinational coalition of polish /lithuanians defending territory from german advances maintaining their soverignty/freedom. So for you people not educated in european history, start looking up battle of grunwald than stereotype the place with the NONSENSE medieval times THAT BRINGS A GENERALIZATION OF MEDIEVAL EUROPEAN CULTURE BUT NEGLECTS OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRIES HISTORY CELEBRATING THEIR SOVERIEGNTY.THE ONLY ONE LOOKING BAD is the one with the ignorance of this information. As for the food, you will not only find lithuanian food but other eastern european foods like polish, hungarian, and latvian. So you can ask the waitress for recommendations on a specific food, you could also see the many different kinds of beverages. And this is northeastern european cuisine, so DON'T EXPECT TO FIND MEXICAN JALAPENOS or ARABIC FALAFA which is down south or cicero/26th street... You will find seasoned well cooked EUROPEAN food and the best beer... Potato pancake awesome and you should even try their chicken kiev as well.
