Businiess name:  Taylor's Steakhouse
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I fully expected to be extremely pleased upon entering the restaurant. The classic decor, cozy feel and abundantly friendly staff made my party feel welcome. But, when it comes down to it, it's all about the food. And, Taylor's food is good, not great. The bone-in New York was highly recommended by the bartenders. So was the culotte. Ultimately, the New York was a chore, undercooked and underflavored. The culotte was tough and stringy. If you're looking for a good steak at a great price, this is your place. If you want magic, stick the better know steak houses LA has to offer (Ruth Chris, Dan Tana's, Mastro's). Truth is, you get what you pay for. Pros: Inexpensive, Not trendy, Nice staff Cons: Mediocre steak
