Review content:
I live nearby, and have been several times before I finally gave up on it. A couple times the food was tasty and not very expensive, and the service was fine and prompt. The last few times I went the food was poor: one time the crepe I ordered was massively overcooked, the other time the eggs I ordered were undercooked and inedible. \r \r The last straw was when I went and they totally botched our order. We were in a group of four, two got their orders immediately, the other two of us (who ordered similar items) didn't. We complained, the waitress glanced back into the kitchen and said ours would be right up. Ten minutes later there was still no sign, the waitress again claimed it would be right up. We asked to speak to the owner, who finally admitted that the order had never made it into the kitchen, and we had been blatantly lied to. He then made us wait another five minutes before he deigned to give us a refund, and refused to give a refund on the coffee that we had barely touched while waiting for the nonexistent food. Finally he made a big scene about how it wasn't his fault and tried to make us feel guilty for complaining.\r \r Any of the other restaurants in the area is a better choice. We had previously used this as a backup spot for brunch if Zazie was too busy, but never will again. Pros: sometimes good food for the cost Cons: aggressively unpleasant servers and owner, generally shoddy cooking
