Review content:
My husband is British, and so, quite particular about Indian cuisine, and
I've eaten in many, many Indian restaurants over the years. I have to say
that Star of India is by far the best and most consistent Indian restaurant in Los Angeles, that I've visited.
The dining room is clean and pretty, and the service is prompt and very
friendly. Their menu has all the typical dishes, plus some slightly different
ones - and everything is just well-prepared and tasty. Their Saag dishes
are wonderful, their chicken tikka masala is one of the best I've had anywhere.
Their Bhuna dishes have plenty of fresh tomato and onions - and overall most dishes are not very oily. I'd recommend Star of India to anyone.
