Review content:
Our family is extremely happy to train T-Kane's Newark. My son began taking lessons here in 2003 when he was 9. He's 14 now, and it's hard to put into words just how much his personal development, confidence, and physical skills have grown through of his involvement in martial arts, and in particular by working with the Kane's. \r We highly recommend anyone interested in martial arts to come and observe a few classes. Just check it out, and we think you'll see why we love it here so much! \r The instructors are incredibly skilled, and they provide well-rounded classes for both kids and adults. The classes provide a wide variety of experiences, including self-defense, forms, weapons (as each student?s skills progress) and point sparring (again, as each students skills progress). \r Also, it's very affordable, there are no contracts or hidden fees.\r They work with beginners through highly advanced students. There really is something for everyone. If you are looking only to learn some self-defense, and to have a good workout, come for the sections of class you want. If you are interested in learning how to use different martial art weapons or point sparring (light contact sport karate) you can work on that as well. If you are a serious competitor, they will prepare you for National and International competition as part of their National team. \r There is no pressure to move past your own comfort level. It's up to you to decide what you want to get out of it. \r The training facility is large, clean, well equipped. There is a spectator sitting area for parents interested in watching classes. Actually, I found that the more I watched, the more I wanted to try it as well, so I started taking classes. It's really a lot of fun. \r The families that train at T-Kanes are very supportive of each other, and we have made a lot of good quality friends. Participating in martial arts at T-Kane's, have become something my son and I enjoy together. Come check it out and see for yourself.\r Pros: Affordable, No Contacts, Good Location, Seating Area for Parents Cons: Parking can be a little tricky when class is getting out
