What a huge mistake - I ordered from El Toro again! I let my daughter talk me into placing a take out order at El Toro in Champlin. Once again, they said ""10 minutes."" Once again, they didn't even START to put the order together until we got there. We waited 15 minutes for ONE piece of tres leches cake. Got it home - and it was cheesecake. Unbelievable! Literally, they have NEVER gotten a take-out order correct! I don't know why I don't check the order on the counter before leaving becasue they have NEVER gotten it right! It really takes the joy out of bringing home a treat or dinner when it is grab bag surprise every time you go there. And to make matters worse, they STOPPED serving their fabulous tres leches cake and now serve a much cheaper (at the same price as before), much lower quality cake. It is one thing to put up with their crappy service for a good piece of cake - but I really would NOT encourage anyone to order from El Toro. I know that I won't ever again! (I sure wish I could give ZERO stars!)
Cons: Worst take out service ever!
