Review content:
My husband was an engineer, I was a Respiratory Therapist, our friends who moved in these apartments at the same time were a High School Teacher and a local actor. So, while none of us were rocket scientists, we were respected, intelligent people...and we LOVED living in Kinkaid Park Apartments...that was the name before River Walk. We absolutely adored the lofts, my children and I would sleep out on the balcony, which was huge, I would walk daily on the walking track, clear down to South City and back, while my kids skated beside me, we threw the biggest Valentines party for my husbands work that (I'm sure) has never been matched before or since. I was the person who tested and treated the pool for a small fee. Walking around the pond or peering at it from our balcony was very romantic. I'm sorry you had such a horrible, rotten, disgusting, life changing experience in this place. But the whole time we lived there, I never saw one spider, mouse, or rat, other than the occasional human type. To have friends, you have to show yourself friendly. And try smiling the first thing you do in the mornings, after you open your eyes. You might be surprised that things are not nearly as bad as you imagine them to be.
