Review content:
A beautiful Sunday afternoon. Thought we'd plop our kayaks in Lake Hodges, but the lake was closed. So we went to Hernandez' Hideaway for a beer. We sat at the bar, cute little place, and asked the bartender what was on tap. She said nothing. We asked what beers do they serve, as none were on display, and she huffed, opened up the beer refrig and said look for yourself. My husband couldn't see, it was dark inside the bar, so he asked her for help. She had to look for herself (didn't she know what beers they serve?). We ordered, she slammed our beers on the bar, and walked away with her hands up in the air. Needless to say, we left. As we drove past the bar on our way out, she was standing out on the patio, smoking a cancer stick and waving at us. Why? is my question. We did nothing to her. We were in great moods. We just wanted a beer. We have been in the restaurant business for 35 years. NEVER has someone been so rude and mean. We are great tippers too. Her loss. Mostly, huge loss for the establishment because we will tell everyone we know. Too bad for the owner. He should unload her. She was a miserable hagged woman. Clearly, didn't want to be at work. Or earn any money.
