Review content:
Under new ownership and maintaining the restaurant's long history as a special pace for special people. More than half the menu is the same as that of the original owner, who was retained for months to work with cook staff to make sure the flavors were right. Prices remain very reasonable, and every weekend fresh fish specials remind long-time patrons why they continue to come. The legendary margarita machine (in a new incarnation) still is present, to make sure that every drink has precisely the right proportions.But what continues to make this the funkiest place in town is the varied and loyal clientele--mature, interesting people from all walks and occupations. Finally, three high-def screens make this a place to watch all Carolina games. If you have not been back this year, put it on your list.
