Review content:
It was such a long time before I ventured into City Opera Thrift shop because I just assumed that everything in it would be vintage and out of my price range, boy was I wrong!
There are some great older pieces, but there are some good newer things too - some of the clothes, books, even DVD box sets - and everything is very reasonably priced. Some of the clothes are nice enough to have higher price tags, but once I walked in and all of those were 50% off, which just goes to show that you never know!
There's furniture, clothes, jewelry, hats - everything you'd expect to find in a good thrift store, plus I peeked in the window after hours the other day and there were several big boxes of comic books, so always keep an eye out for new stuff!
Proceeds benefit, what else, the City Opera. Good Deeds Through Shopping, can't get better than that.
