Businiess name:  Anthony And Son Panini Shoppe
Review by:  Rachael S.
Review content:
Anthony's Fruit and Deli just expanded, adding a whole new, spacious store next door to the original one. And do you know how they managed to do that? By charging their customers 14% sales tax, almost double what it should be. When I asked the owner how two 74 cent cans of cat food came out to $1.74 he rudely told me it was "tax" and haughtily offered me the receipt, then made fun of my other purchases. When I thought better of my timidness and came back for the receipt a few minutes later, he willingly printed it out for me, complete with 14% sales tax. Not wanting to accuse unfairly, I left and checked with the city to make sure I wasn't mistaken about the sales tax rate. I wasn't. This is a neighborhood deli, not some anonymous pit stop in the middle of the city, and they're screwing everyone over, and being rude about it! That ain't right.
