Review content:
I love the cozy, friendly intimacy of PANYC salon, and it's proximity to my home, but return every few months because of the talent and easygoing nature of my stylist, Chris. He was just recently promoted from junior stylist, but I don't mind paying a few extra bucks (still VERY reasonable for NYC). The styling products always smell so yummy, and everyone always loves my haircut. Chris is a Wiz with layers, and my cuts always grow in very well. I always look forward to my next appointment - feels like coming home!
Pros: A friendly, talented staff; weekend and evening hours
Cons: Could be a little more sanitary...hair in the brushes freaks me out a bit
