Review content:
I gave one star although I want to give 0 stars. This place is really really bad.
I am a senior citizen and am shocked and disgusted about how bad Lazimi Lock and Key is---if you want ethical and honest customer service. I read the various good reviews and I think those folks are wriitng about the old ownership or a different place, not the place that is operating now. I strongly suggest that Lazimi Lock and Key is a dishonest, unethical, devious, and generally a bad place to take your business.
To my peril, I am a trusting individual who recently needed locksmith assistance. I am not an expert in locksmith technicalities so I trusted this neighborhood business that has been around for a long time to help me with good information and a good deal. I figured that a small independent business would be a good thing, but I was very wrong. It was a huge mistake to go there and I am trying here to make sure that no one else suffers from their bad practices.
I was ripped off in several different ways by them, lied to about the quality and cost of the recycled products that I bought, and was intentionally misinformed by them about every detail (I know now in hindsight). They calculated every move so they could rip me off for the max and they defiantly will argue with you once their bad intentions are revealed. sure, I feel stupid and overly naive now, but I can honestly say these guys are snakes that are waiting in the grass for the unwary. They sold me some old locks as new locks and a garage door opener that doesn't work at highly inflated rates (3x online price) while telling me a pack of lies and falsehoods about just about everything. When I went back to return the goods they lied over and over and over again and were highly disrpectful, rude, unhelpful and dishonest at every turn. OK, they got their $300 but I hope they go out of business quickly so the world will be a better place!
It is a scary concept---a dishonest locksmith? A guy coming into your home to set your locks who actually just wants to milk each customer to the max with garbage products and false info? I strongly suggest you avoid this place.
