Review content:
Summary: 1. He doesn?t keep his promised delivery dates. 2. He charges less but the work was not done correctly. 3. He is not organized and does not provide a work order. Detail: There are plenty of things to complain about in life. This for one I consider a public service announcement. I have always liked to go to the dealerships. Where I now live, Syosset, the dealerships are 20 to 30 minutes away. This location is walking distance from the Syosset Train Station; ideal for commuters. My parents have used Mike Ferrari for years. They warned me that he holds onto the car for a while if he knows you have another. When you speak to Mike he takes your order and keys and that?s it. No paperwork! No proof that he has possession of your car or receipt of the expected work. When you pick up your car the office is littered with sets of keys on top of their receipts. Anyone could just walk in and take a set. I left him my station car and let him do an oil change. He promised me it will be done by the end of the day. After 4 days I got my car back. Each day he would promise it would be ready. I took my other car to the Toyota dealership where they quoted me $770 for front and back brake pads and rotor resurfacing. Ferrari quoted me $325. He promised it will get done in one day. Against better judgment I gave the work to Ferrari. It took him 5 days to return the car. Each day he promised it will be done. Now the car no longer brakes smoothly. I gave it back to him knowing it will take a while. It took another 4 days where he charged $170 me for new rotors. He told me to call him if it still doesn?t brake smoothly. It still doesn?t. I don?t trust him. He speaks really fast and doesn?t test his work. The amount of energy wasted I was better staying with the dealerships or try another service station.
