This is the worst plastics company I have ever had the extreme displeasure of dealing with. Our high school makes large posters of each year's musical. We always have used Paragon Plastics to make the plexiglass frames. This is the first time I have actually dealt with them personally. I took the poster there in July with a check for the full amount we were quoted on the phone. When I got to the front office it was locked even though it was during business hours clearly posted on the door. After sleuthing around a bit, I found an open door in the back. I went in and I was told no one was there to take my order but they would call me tomorrow. She took the check and the poster. I explained that we do this every year and left.
No one ever called me. I called them in August to see if my order was ready. They said, ""No, it's sitting here but we didn't know what to do with it."" I explained what happened in July. I spoke to someone named Richard. He apologized, made some excuses about being busy. We discussed the order in detail and he said he would do it right away. I asked him if anyone was ever going to call me to ask what I wanted done with the poster? More excuses about how busy they are...blah, blah, blah. Another month went by and again, no one ever called me. Sure that it must be ready now, 2 1/2 months later, I called them today.
Again, I was transferred to Richard who said...again....""We don't know what to do with this."" I explained that this was my third call and the second one to him. He did not apologize. He just asked if I wanted it done or not. He said, ""we lost your number."" Now I have to drive to south El Monte to pick up my poster that I ordered a plastic frame for in July...undone.
What an unprofessional and lousy way to do business. I know they probably don't need my business but I just wanted someone in the universe to know what an awful place this is. Do not take your business to them. They are completely unprofessional, rude and frankly just a rotten company.
