Review content:
I live in Allston and was visiting a friend who just moved to boston. My boyfriend and I wanted to take him somewhere touristy and he went on some tour which gave him 15% of a meal at Cheers so we decided to go there. First of all, it seemed like everyone but our waitress came by to tell us that she would be there soon to take our order. It was a wednesday night, and only 4 other tables were full. Another waitress was actually nice enough to get us drinks. When our waistress finally did come, she promptly demanded rudely ""what do you want to eat?"". Then when I asked her if she could tell me if the clams were whole belly or just strips, she stared at me blankly and said ""No, I don't know"" without consulting the cook or anyone else. So I ordered the swordfish. She came by only to give us our meal and to see if we were going to order more beer to fatten up our check. We were so hungry by that time we just wolfed everything down but you can be sure we will not ever be coming here ever again. The food was mediocre at best, which was worsened by the fact that our waitress was a complete idiot. Pros: outdoor dining Cons: service, service, service
